Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup neutral oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 lbs flank steak
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the lime juice, orange juice, soy sauce, and neutral oil until the liquids are emulsified.
- Stir the minced garlic, chopped cilantro, ground cumin, chili powder, and black pepper into the liquid base.
- Place the 2 lbs of beef into a gallon-sized zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it. Squeeze out as much air as possible to ensure maximum surface contact.
- Allow the meat to marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours) in the refrigerator.
- Grill the steak over high heat for approximately 4 minutes per side (8 minutes total) or until the desired internal temperature is reached.
