Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup neutral oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 lbs flank steak

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the lime juice, orange juice, soy sauce, and neutral oil until the liquids are emulsified.
  2. Stir the minced garlic, chopped cilantro, ground cumin, chili powder, and black pepper into the liquid base.
  3. Place the 2 lbs of beef into a gallon-sized zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it. Squeeze out as much air as possible to ensure maximum surface contact.
  4. Allow the meat to marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours) in the refrigerator.
  5. Grill the steak over high heat for approximately 4 minutes per side (8 minutes total) or until the desired internal temperature is reached.
