Ingredients:

  • 6 large waffle cones
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 0.5 cup crushed pretzels

Instructions:

  1. Spread a thin layer of peanut butter (approximately 1.3 tablespoons per cone) on the interior walls of each waffle cone to act as a heat barrier and adhesive.
  2. Layer the ingredients starting with a small amount of chocolate chips at the bottom point. Alternate layers of marshmallows, strawberries, and crushed pretzels, finishing with a dense layer of marshmallows at the top opening.
  3. Wrap each cone twice in heavy-duty aluminum foil, ensuring a snug fit without crushing the waffle. Twist the top into a handle for easier handling with tongs.
  4. Place wrapped cones on a grill grate over hot campfire coals (avoiding direct flames). Heat for 5–10 minutes, rotating every 2–3 minutes until the contents are molten.
  5. Remove from heat and allow the cones to rest for 2 minutes to let the sugar set and the cone regain its crisp texture before consuming.
