Ingredients:
- 6 large waffle cones
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 0.5 cup crushed pretzels
Instructions:
- Spread a thin layer of peanut butter (approximately 1.3 tablespoons per cone) on the interior walls of each waffle cone to act as a heat barrier and adhesive.
- Layer the ingredients starting with a small amount of chocolate chips at the bottom point. Alternate layers of marshmallows, strawberries, and crushed pretzels, finishing with a dense layer of marshmallows at the top opening.
- Wrap each cone twice in heavy-duty aluminum foil, ensuring a snug fit without crushing the waffle. Twist the top into a handle for easier handling with tongs.
- Place wrapped cones on a grill grate over hot campfire coals (avoiding direct flames). Heat for 5–10 minutes, rotating every 2–3 minutes until the contents are molten.
- Remove from heat and allow the cones to rest for 2 minutes to let the sugar set and the cone regain its crisp texture before consuming.
