Ingredients:

  • 1 package (0.9 oz) Knorr Vegetable recipe mix
  • 16 oz full-fat sour cream
  • 1 cup real mayonnaise
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 8 oz canned water chestnuts, drained and minced
  • 3 stalks green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 lb round sourdough bread loaf

Instructions:

  1. Place thawed spinach in a clean kitchen towel and wring forcefully until bone-dry and compressed into a dense ball.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, and dry Knorr vegetable recipe mix until fully combined.
  3. Break the dried spinach ball into small pieces and fold into the cream base along with the minced water chestnuts and green onions.
  4. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the dehydrated vegetables in the mix to fully hydrate and bloom.
  5. Hollow out the sourdough loaf to create a bowl, fill with the chilled dip, and serve with the remaining bread pieces and raw vegetables.
