Ingredients:
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Combine the orange juice, water, and sugar in the saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved and the liquid begins to steam.
- Whisk in the cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and salt. Bring to a gentle simmer for 3 minutes to bloom the spices.
- Stir in the fresh cranberries. Increase heat slightly to bring the mixture to a boil, then immediately reduce to medium-low.
- Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10–12 minutes until the berries pop and the sauce thickens into a glossy jam.
- Remove the pan from heat and stir in the honey.
- Let the sauce cool in the pan for 10 minutes to allow the pectin to set, then transfer to a glass jar and chill before serving.
