Ingredients:

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine the orange juice, water, and sugar in the saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved and the liquid begins to steam.
  2. Whisk in the cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and salt. Bring to a gentle simmer for 3 minutes to bloom the spices.
  3. Stir in the fresh cranberries. Increase heat slightly to bring the mixture to a boil, then immediately reduce to medium-low.
  4. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10–12 minutes until the berries pop and the sauce thickens into a glossy jam.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the honey.
  6. Let the sauce cool in the pan for 10 minutes to allow the pectin to set, then transfer to a glass jar and chill before serving.
