Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1.5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp sea salt
  • 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and place an empty heavy-duty rimmed baking sheet inside to preheat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Carefully arrange them cut-side down on the hot baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes until dark and crisp.
  3. Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Drizzle the mixture over the roasted sprouts, toss quickly to coat, and return to the oven for exactly 3 minutes to set the glaze.
