Ingredients:

  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 0.125 tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • 0.125 tsp Freshly Cracked Black Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place an 8-inch non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Add the unsalted butter and allow it to melt until it begins to foam slightly.
  2. Crack the eggs into a small bowl and gently slide them into the skillet. Sprinkle immediately with sea salt.
  3. Fry for 60 to 90 seconds until the whites are opaque and mostly set, but the top layer of white is still slightly translucent.
  4. Slide a wide, thin silicone spatula completely under the yolk. In one fluid motion, flip the egg over. Do not press down on the egg.
  5. Cook for exactly 30 seconds on the second side to set a thin film over the yolk while keeping the center liquid. Remove from heat immediately and season with black pepper.
